What happens when you take a highly anticipated film, smash it into tiny pieces, and then let YOU, the viewer, put it all back together again?

IGN and Overture Films are allowing you the chance to make your trailer for Law Abiding Citizen, the film set for release on October 16th. It stars Gerard Butler (300) who plays a vigilante out for “justice” on those who took the lives of his wife and daughter. And when the lawyer assigned to the case, played by Jamie Foxx (Ray, In Living Color) doesn’t put the killers away long enough, Gerard does.
lawabidingcitizen.ign.com lets you be an editor for a day. You are given clips, graphics, sound effects, and even backing music. Place them together, and the winner receives some pretty great stuff.

Citizen DVD - F. Gary Gray, the Director, will personally judge the entries, choose his favorite fan-made trailer and give it a spotlight on the film’s eventual release to home video.
