Possible New “Paranormal Activity 2” Viral Sites (and Video)

You know a film has people talking when it’s plastered all over the web, and now TV spots, oh yeah, and not to mention the box office success of the firs film. Plus the fact that we have a handful of articles in just a couple of weeks means the viral is going strong. All of the quick video clips that have been going around are being delivered by flash drives to various websites for the film Paranormal Activity 2 have drawn quite the stir, and now someone has tracked down the address to a specific location, and quite possibly, a new viral site to keep an eye on. Keep reading for more.

In a post by AITH, they point out that the media is coming from 40 University Dr, Rindge, NH 03461, which happens to be the location of Franklin Pierce University. Ok, so one can assume that they are being sent from somewhere and they are using the address to throw you off. Well, in a recent post by the college’s website, they aren’t sending them, and they have received messages from Paramount, although not really going into detail about the content of the messages. One interesting note from the article:

Garrity also noted that several FPU graduates have moved to California and have worked with Paramount Pictures.

So what the hell is going on? They even note that a link appeared on the college’s newspaper site (Pierce Arrow News) of an ad requesting stories of paranormal experiences. This of course could just pertain to browser history and mean nothing. Hell, I just went to the site, and found that the most popular post was a review of the first Paranormal Activity.

Also while digging through all of this, there was also an article of a college in Oswego, NY entering the realm of the paranormal, and they have a newspaper site as well. The club itself even has their own website. Looks like a real site though, not a viral site. But, you never know. Check them out at T.O.P.R.S. (The Oswego Paranormal Research Society).

Another honorable mention of a viral site that we have come across is called Paranormal Surveillance, however at the moment, it simply leads to the UK site of the film.

Now, as the article discusses videos, which have been seen here and here, we now have two more videos to look at. And here they are!
