It is hard to imagine a school without a flag, but Greendale Community College finds itself in that very predicament. Fans of NBC’s Community remember the trials and tribulations the school went through last year to decide upon on a school mascot. In an attempt to avoid the brouhaha again, the school has turned it over to you to design them a flag worthy of flying at Greendale. Find out how to submit your design after the jump.
The Greendale Community College website has all the details on how to create and submit your own school flag:
“Greendale Community College is in search of a new school flag and needs your help. All students, alumni, faculty and friends of GCC are welcome to submit designs. Dean Pelton will be reviewing each and every one of your submissions. Stay tuned to see if your flag will be the winner.”
No word yet on any possible prizes for the chosen design, but I assume it will show up in a future episode of the show, which would be pretty darn cool. You can either draft your design on Photoshop and upload to their website, or use a design tool they provided that gives you access to school logos and more. Once you are finished, sign in using your Facebook or myNBC login and submit your flag and view the other designs in contention. When the school’s mascot is a “human being,” I imagine there will be quite an array of submissions. Don’t forget to catch Community Thursdays on NBC.
