It seems Paramount has finally given us a release date in regards to Super 8, the secretive movie directed by J.J. Abrams and co-produced by Steven Spielberg. More after the break. The film is slated to be released June 10th, 2011 and I recommend people save the date because this could be one interesting movie. Not much can be said about what the plot for Super 8 will be, however we do know it’s a movie that’s supposed to be set in 1979.
Now for those that have been following the viral for this movie via Scariest Thing I Ever Saw, there was a chat log that was updated in which Josh talks about a canister that has “3 Dots” on it. Fortunately we have a picture thanks to Super 8 News that shows these 3 dots on a truck that has been driving around where the film is being shot. Check it out and tell us what you think.
