Trailers Weekly: “Taken 2”, “Skyfall”, “The Paperboy”, “Killing Them Softly”, and “Bachelorette”

TrailersWeekly

Trailers Weekly is a feature in which we bring you the most popular and talked about trailers of the week. Sharing trailers is a classic viral practice, and trailers are still the most mainstream way for people to learn about movies. This week provided us with so many trailers, so of course we will include our favorite ones this week, which includes Taken 2, Skyfall, The Paperboy, Killing Them Softly, and Bachelorette. Hit the jump for more.

Taken 2
It would not be a Taken sequel without extreme acts of heroic violence and kidnapping. And that is just what we will be seeing in Taken 2. This time we see Maggie Grace get in on the action, which means that by the time we see a Taken 3, the entire Millis family (Grace, Neeson, and Famke Janssen) will be taking on the Albanian underground sex trafficking group.

Skyfall

So audiences weren’t too into Quantum of Solace, maybe because it tried to force feed the dangerous organization that killed Bond’s love interest or maybe because of something else, but Skyfall will drop all of that and introduce something fresh. Daniel Craig returns to reprise 007, and we get to see Javier Bardem look pretty scary.

The Paperboy

No this isn’t an adaptation of the classic arcade game that you used to play at the pizza parlors (Am I really that old?), this film stars Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman. The new Lee Daniels (Precious) film features crime, kinky sex, and some pretty weird acts of people urinating on each other. So its up to you if you want to watch all that.

Killing Them Softly
Formally known as Cogan’s Trade, Brad Pitt plays as a criminal enforcer set to to find underground gambling money stolen by a couple of inexperienced crooks. This is one of those crime caper films that I have been waiting for.

Bachelorette
This Will Ferrell and Adam McKay produced comedy takes everything you know about The Hangover and Bridesmaids and mashes them together for another raunchy comedy featuring an entire-female led cast. Its a race against time as Lizzy Caplan, Kirsten Dunst and Isla Fisher try to figure out a way to fix their best friend’s wedding dress.
