“Pacific Rim” Viral: New Memo Predicts Kaiju Will Attack America Again Michael Lee, December 3, 2012December 3, 2012 The Kaiju threat is escalating to a point where more and more nations are either requesting for help or requesting to be a part of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps. A new update as been added to the official viral website for Guillermo Del Toro’s Pacific Rim, and it sheds light on just how much it costs to fund the Pan Pacific Defense Corps and how nations have unified to defend their allies from the monstrous threat. We previous posted leaked memos, an emergency alert system, a video of a Kaiju attack on San Francisco, and multiple blueprints of Jaegers (the giant robots that defend us against the Kaiju threat). Hit the jump to read the memo. Additional dots have been added to the Pan Pacific Defense Corps. site. However some of the dots are just links to the blueprints we posted earlier last week. The one dot you should be focusing on is the one located over Lima, Peru. There you will find a memo from a top Peruvian military official. The memo states that he has been keeping a very close eye on the Kaiju attacks and that his country is willing and ready to help. The financial contributions his country is willing to make “represents the hope of the American people.” What’s more important it appears that these nations have developed a system that could detect when the next attack will occur. Click below for a larger image of the memo, hit the link above to download it. Here is a rough translation of the memo: From: Francisco Gutierrez Posted: Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 07:10 hours A: Ramon Rodriguez Subject: AUTHORIZATION LATINOAMERICA SHATTERDOME On 17 May 2016 at 07:10 hours, “Gutierrez, Francisco” [redacted] wrote: Ramon, As requested, I have completed the inventory financeria corporate portfolio. what is even more important, I have been closely following the crisis in tokyo Onibaba incident. Hopefully there will be some sort of response from the United States. It would be fun to see each nation conversing with each other to help each other respond to the Kaiju threat. Maybe we will see another viral video of this predicted attack being fulfilled. We could be seeing more and more of these memos in the coming weeks leading up to the film’s premiere.
