Robert Rodriquez Wants To Green Screen You Into His Newest Short Film, “Two Scoops” Christopher Moore, March 21, 2013March 21, 2013 Have you ever wanted to be in a film directed by the guy who brought us Sin City, Machete and El Mariachi? Well, now you have your chance with Robert Rodriguez’s newest collaboration, Project Green Screen. Sponsored by Blackberry and deviantART, the contest allows you to submit to be a part of his newest short action adventure film, Two Scoops. Check out the contest’s intro video and the short film’s trailer after the break. As described by the site, Two Scoops is an action-packed story about two kick-ass twin girls, Lola and Lucia (played by Electra Avellan and Elise Avellan) who run an ice cream truck and happen to be monster hunters in their spare time. After several townspeople go missing, it suddenly becomes personal when their own father joins the ranks of the mysterious kidnappings. Act I of the contest allows you to submit a performance and if yours is picked, it could be edited into the final product. There will also be opportunities to get your face in the film, help create a character’s weapon and even design the story’s giant monster. Here’s the contest intro video: Here’s Rodriguez’s trailer to Two Scoops: Here’s another video segment where Rodriguez talks about being a filmmaker: You have to submit your acting performances by April 3rd, 2013 to be considered.
