New “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones” Viral Teases Possible Early Screenings Michael Lee, December 4, 2013 Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones will have a bit of an international flair. That’s because the spinoff film will focus on a brand new group who are experiencing spiritual terrors that seem to have Latino roots. No doubt this move was made to reach out to the Latino fanbase. Previous viral clips have thrived on capturing the audience’s reaction of very scary moment from each and every installment. It’s almost a standard practice. Now a new short clip – that runs for 14 seconds – is asking will you be the first? Hit the jump to see the video. The video has very brief snippets of the film featuring the same scares that we have seen in previous installments. We see furniture moving around on its own, car windows exploding on their own, ominous candles. All of it ending with the two young girls with eyes asking the question: Will You Be The First? The first of what exactly? The first to watch an advanced screening? The first to participate in a viral campaign? The question is somewhat broad, but come December 6, our question will be answered. Here’s the video. Directed by Christopher B. Landon, Paramount will release Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones on January 3, 2014. Viral Marketing Viral News Christopher B.
