Walt Disney Pictures’ Saving Mr. Banks tells the story of how one of the most popular movies of all time came to be. The film shows the writing process for Mary Poppins and the difficult relationship between Walt Disney and author PL Travers, played by Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson, respectively. Last month, Disney held a press conference with the cast and crew at the Beverly Hills Hotel (where a few scenes from the film take place), and you can listen to it all after the break.
In attendance at the press conference were actors Emma Thompson, Tom Hanks, Colin Farrell, Bradley Whitford, B.J. Novak, and Jason Schwartzman, as well as director John Lee Hancock, co-writer Kelly Marcel, and producer Alison Owen.
