Watch Idina Menzel, Jimmy Fallon, And The Roots Sing “Let It Go” With Classroom Musical Instruments Michael Lee, March 4, 2014March 4, 2014 It looks like Idina Menzel is not letting John Travolta‘s Adele Dazeem flub get in the way of belting out a great performance. Despite a somewhat rushed performance – and slight voice cracking – at the Oscars this past Sunday, Let It Go won the award for Best Song. But even before all of the nominations and awards, the song was already making waves with kids and adults alike uploading videos of themselves singing the song. Basically, it has gone viral. Now with the DVD and Blu-ray scheduled to hit store shelves March 18, the Let It Go singing marathon continues. This time Menzel joined Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, to sing it once more, but with classroom musical intruments. Hit the jump to see the full video. Since being uploaded last night, the video has amassed over 700,000 views. I’d say this has gone viral. Thanks to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for posting this video. And here is the instrument list to see who is playing what. Jimmy Fallon – toy blocks, bass drum, Casio keyboard Idina Menzel – triangle Questlove – kazoo, jingle sticks Mark Kelley – kazoo Kamal Gray – xylophone James Poyser – melodica Luke – ukulele Tuba Gooding Jr. – lemon shaker Frank Knuckles – bongos Black Thought — tambourine, chimes As aforementioned, Frozen will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 18.
