Sure Lionsgate didn’t have a panel for the highly anticipated Insurgent or more importantly The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -Part 1, but that hasn’t quelled fans from eagerly awaiting seeing any footage from the film. The first half of the trilogy already has two teasers, one that signals the power of President Snow, while the other is a call to arms via the Mockingjay rebellion.
Now Lionsgate has released the first trailer for the film, and if you didn’t get a chance to see the exclusive preview at comic-con this weekend, now is your chance to check out a small teaser of the film. Check it out after the jump.

Jennifer Lawrence reprises her role as Katniss Everdeen, Panem’s symbol of hope, and the heroine who will inspire a nation to rise up against President Snow (Donald Sutherland). The film also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, and Sam Claflin. They will all be joined by Julianne Moore, who will be playing President Coin, the leader of District 13.
