This Week In Viral – Finally, D-9 is Back! Dan Koelsch, March 8, 2009July 18, 2010 As mentioned in last week’s TWIV, the viral for District 9 seems to be back out of nowhere. There are viral web ads on sites like slashfilm.com and even Facebook (thanks to David and Sajin for the tips). Also, the main viral site, D-9.com has a new intro video and walkthrough (via andyboy35 from the forums), and MNU has some downloadable items like wallpapers and stickers. Not to be outdone, mnuspreadslies.com has a new blog just saying they’re back and some downloadable items as well. Lastly, mathsfromouterspace.com has an option to register for updates. As always, it’s a good idea to sign up. The viral was enough to have /Film devote an article to it, so check that out as well. More viral news after the jump. 2012 – Yet another video from Charlie Frost, this time about Nanotechnology potentially causing Doomsday: Star Trek – No real viral news, but tickets have started going on sale, and a new trailer premiered in front of Watchmen. Put it on your view-screen: Watchmen – The movie may be already out, but check the forums for some new viral videos and spoofs. Later this week I’ll have a special podcast with Tom from the forum. We’ll be reviewing the movie and I’ll include comments left in our official thread in the forum, so go post! That’s it for this week’s TWIV. As always, we can only cover a fraction of the news, so to keep up-to-date, go to our Official Forum. Keep searching for viral, you never know where you’ll catch it. 2012: The Package November 11, 2009November 11, 2009UPDATE: That was quick. Almost as soon as I posted this, Charlie Frost updated his blog again to let us know that Professor Meyer is dead. He was apparently on a fishing trip, which is ironic given his last update. Looks like when the IHC wants to shut someone up,… Read More

And in return, some interesting answers. Take a look. One actor plays all of the talking aliens. It’s only one actor who plays every alien, it’s Jason Cope. He plays every… Read More
Viral Video: Gritty Superhero Reboot May 12, 2010College Humor has a great parody video that uses a medical emergency as a metaphor for how studios go about rebooting their franchises.
