Inception: First Viral Site and Poster Revealed Iain Welford, December 15, 2009June 12, 2010 A LONG time ago, back in August, we wrote about Inception, Chrisopher Nolan’s next project after The Dark Knight. One visit to the website and it was obvious that Nolan and the producers had figured that Viral was again the way to go. For the longest time that spinning top just kept on spinning, but when you visit today, you will see the top lose inertia and fall over. Perhaps a bit simpler than we would have liked, but wait till you see what is next. Clicking on the fallen top will take you to the first viral website with the phrase “Your mind is the scene of the crime”. There are 4 windows on the website with only one being filled at the moment by the spinning top. Clicking on the first window will take you to a Devilish Maze mini-game.The new movie poster is the prize for completing the game. It’s a pretty good start, and i’m sure on past pedigree this will be one of THE virals to watch in 2010. What do you think of the poster and the start of the viral? comment below or join the discusison in our forums. Viral Marketing Inception
