As we previously reported, Columbia Picture’s Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, has interactive story you can participate at their official website. Every week there is a new mission, last week you were first contacted by Evelyn Salt (Jolie) and forced to lie to your boss. This week your photography skills are put to the test.
For those catching up, the premise of the game is that Salt, a government agent, is on the run for being suspected of being a sleeper agent. Part of the terrorist plot called “Day X” is the awakening of these sleepers. Salt is trying to clear her name, and needs your help to do so. In the pre-game video for this week’s mission, Evelyn Salt (Jolie) calls you to tell you about a meeting and exchange between Day X operatives. She needs you to get good photographs of the exchange for the agency to analyze.
The task is pretty hard, so make sure you bring your A Game. In the post-game video, your boss confirms that the people you photographed were part of the Day X. He mentions a few other people that are connected to the senior agent, and congratulates you on your solo work. Of course, if you want to be high on the game’s leaderboard, you’ll need those points from the clue codes. Last week’s clue code was “SPIDER.” Try to find this week’s code hidden in the mission reports and/or other content.
Salt, starring Angelina Jolie and Liev Schreiber, is directed by Phillip Noyce (Clear and Present Danger, The Saint) and written by Kurt Wimmer (The Thomas Crown Affair, Law Abiding Citizen) and Brian Helgeland (Conspiracy Theory, Robin Hood). See it in theaters on July 23rd.
