Super 8: Rocket Poppeteers Website Updates, Accepting Applications Nick Butler, July 28, 2010October 18, 2010 Following a brief stint at Comic-Con, the Rocket Poppeteers are at it again, this time updating their website and accepting new applications. The website also hints at game (I assume) they’ll release soon, with the home page reading “FLY THE ROCKET SSF1 – COMING SOON“. See some screenshots and more after the break. Once you submit your application to RocketPoppeteers.com, you’ll hear an awesome theme song play (YouTube video below). I mean awesome. Anyways, after I submitted my application, I didn’t receive any sort of email verification but I assume it went through (since the theme song played). It also asks for your mailing address, so hopefully we’ll get some popsicles in the mail.In addition to new applicants, you can also verify your candidacy. I thought once I signed up, I’d be able to, but apparently not (my bad? I dont know). That’s really it for now. We’ll keep you in the loop! (Update: I think the verify is for people who sent in the letters).UPDATE: Over at unfiction twodten discovered a few hidden pages within the site. These are probably meant to go up at a later time, check it out. http://www.rocketpoppeteers.com/assets/swf/screens/space.swf http://www.rocketpoppeteers.com/assets/swf/screens/landing.swf The landing page leads to this: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rocket-PoppeteersClick for full size.
