In the latest news about the Biebs’ 3D movie, you the fan can actually be a part of it. Just upload a video to BieberFever.com with you singing along to “That Should Be Me”, or submit a photo or video of you smiling (like the song “U Smile”). While the details are vague, I imagine a compilation of these videos and photos will show up sometime in the film. Watch director Jon Chu talk about the contest after the break. For a singer who has millions of rabid fans, this is no-brainer to drum up viral interest in his film. In fact, soon after announcing it, Bieber’s website crashed (it’s back up now). All Bieber fans have until August 25th (tomorrow) at 5pm ET to get in their submissions. The as-yet-untitled Bieber film hits theaters in February 2011.
