“TRON: Legacy” Roundtable Interviews With Writers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, and Producer Justin Springer Michael Lee, December 4, 2010December 6, 2010 TRON: Legacy, Disney’s sequel to their cult hit of the 1980s will hit theaters in just a few days, and I got a chance to have a roundtable interview with the filmmakers to talk about the development of the film and how the viral marketing campaign played a factor. So how does a sequel avoid the repeating the same mistakes of its predecessor? You hire the guys from LOST. Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, the duo that helped bring the characters of LOST to life, brings Sam, Quorra, Kevin, Clu 2.0, Castor, and more to the big screen in a big way. In this roundtable interview with producer Justin Springer, we talk about the writing process and how much of a role the actors played offstage. Kitsis and Horowitz also commented viral campaign saying it was an important factor to the film as it was able to tell a story that the filmmakers could not fit into a hour and fifty minutes, and allowed audiences to become a part of that story.
