Strange Noises Heard Around The World Could Have Scientific Explanation

Earlier this week, we reported on a phenomenon sweeping the Internet in which strange noises were heard around the world. These roars/groans from the sky are a bit frightening, which may have contributed to videos of the occurance flooding YouTube (along with many hoaxes). While we considered the idea that the sounds were some kind of marketing ploy, we now have at least one scientific explanation that might resolve this issue. Find out after the jump.

I was surfing YouTube last night when I found the video below. It’s a news report from Canadian channel CTV that talks about the sounds.

The professor in the clip explains that the sounds are coming from the Aurora Borealis (aka the Northern Lights) causing electromagnetic noise within nearby environmental antennas. It sounds a bit like the Roswell weather ballon explanation to me, especially since these noises have not been heard before (at least not recently, since this is the first time the Internet has been up in arms about it). What do you think? Is this a good explanation?

No. Use your fucking heads for once and realize that there are logical reasons to everything, INCLUDING this noise. Anyone can take the easy road and just say it’s God doing everything, but that’s why nobody listens to people like you, they listen to scientists with rock solid evidence.

Funny NON believers gave the world such things as, Hitler, Stalin, mao, and countless other goons Killing Millions, Religion is Man made, its the same thing Christ stood up to with the teachers of His time. how ever HE jesus has stood the test of time for over two thousand years, with Text In side the bible a historic document as well as Out side the bible in both roman and Jewish scribes of the time, Don’t try to Bully people speaking about there faith.. yet you get to speak your mind? science  books are out of date in 5 years Hypocrite. But that’s fine because the Bible talks of your kind coming as a very sign..   8. I’ve seen the  aurora borealis Northern Lights plenty of times, I live in Alaska. How come I never once heard these noises? We also have small earthquakes up here everyday! and I still don’t ever hear those noises, is this abnormal?

  11. I knew this would be hijacked by the religious fanatics.  Jews, Christians, Muslims…they all worship the same ‘god’ and have been more than happy to slay each other in the name of ‘the god of peace’ for thousands of years.  Mary was an abductee, and Jesus was a hybrid.

    Now, back on topic…more recent videos on you tube regarding the strange noises.  Also something of very odd nature, in McAdam, NB, CA there has been 35 earthquakes since March 1st.  This is highly unusual as I know that area well and it never gets that frequency of quakes.  Same goes for one of the states on the west coast(Oregon??).  I noted during the last solar flare up in late March that the Telus cellular network was suffering greatly from the effects of the CME that hit, as we kept losing our communications with the facility handling the fluids we were shipping to.  Bell was suffering some, but nowhere near as bad.  Havent seen comms fail that bad for some time.  Still havent heard the sounds myself though even though we have a co-worker that has heard it at his home on the western edge of Calgary.  Described as very low and undefinable by him.

    Lol!  Remember, in order for you soul to be saved by god…you must die.  Salvation comes after death, life is about endurance.  “Save your soul, but your ass must pay first.” 

  12. If you knew anything about despotic rulers and the psychology that drives them you’d know that they remove any other forms of worship so as to maintain all worship for them selves. Never once did any of the above mobilize under the banner of non-belief. While religious groups pride themselves in there military conquests as they see them as divinely mandated .So using that as an argument is redundant and evidence that you are selective in your research. And hitler was very much a believer. Why do you think he was so interested in they occult?
