Strange Noises Heard Around The World Could Have Scientific Explanation Dan Koelsch, January 27, 2012January 27, 2012 Earlier this week, we reported on a phenomenon sweeping the Internet in which strange noises were heard around the world. These roars/groans from the sky are a bit frightening, which may have contributed to videos of the occurance flooding YouTube (along with many hoaxes). While we considered the idea that the sounds were some kind of marketing ploy, we now have at least one scientific explanation that might resolve this issue. Find out after the jump. I was surfing YouTube last night when I found the video below. It’s a news report from Canadian channel CTV that talks about the sounds. The professor in the clip explains that the sounds are coming from the Aurora Borealis (aka the Northern Lights) causing electromagnetic noise within nearby environmental antennas. It sounds a bit like the Roswell weather ballon explanation to me, especially since these noises have not been heard before (at least not recently, since this is the first time the Internet has been up in arms about it). What do you think? Is this a good explanation? Viral Marketing Viral News Cloverfield 2GodzillaStrange NoisesViral video

Its not so much code as understanding hebrew roots. my husband and I have been studying for almost a year, and if you follow the holidays listed in the old testement in levitcus, things make more sense. Look it up, its pretty cool.
anything makes more sense than an old man in the sky molding people out of clay and ribs and playing ant farm with them (might as well worship the mighty easter bunny), i don’t have an explanation for the strange sounds and i’ll admit it was a little creepy at first but i stick with science, the universe is always changing, and humans can’t explain a lot of things yet. maybe if religion would just step aside and let humans evolve we’d be able to find the answers, stop preventing the progress of humanity for pete’s sake, stop being ignorant, read a book, and stop giving your love away to imaginary beings, real people, on earth need it more.
I think it is the M. A. D. Deep underground driller placing nuclear bomb under cities of the world to stage earthquake 2012 Armageddon style. Please watch The Core (2003)
Tool, perhaps you should try to read the whole book instead of cherry picking your facts, but I guess I should be thankful as your kind will continue to keep jobs in my future career in psychology =D
Yo retards who said the world was ending go to this site http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/2012/02/01/mystery-of-strange-sound-solved/ the mystery is solved so we can all go back to our live you dumb retards
that noise must have traveled pretty far al the way to the Netherlands and back in time also because we heard it last year 2011.
we must be retard according to you but you must be a sheep. Just because you didnt hear it doesnt mean its fake. And the explenation about the sound you have giving with the article doesnt do it because it said its about the sounds on 10 and 11 januari and the sounds that been heard has been occuring since august 2011 until now so there goes the theory. But you can go back to sleep.
I disagree. Psychology is in no way responsible for these strange noises heard in the skies of Canada. Even if the electromagnetic disturbances from cell phones to the Aurora Borealis were in fact affecting one’s overall nature, I doubt that it would be solely responsible for said cherry-picking.
