YouTube Tuesday: Glove and Boots Dan Koelsch, April 3, 2012 We know a thing or two about viral videos here at MovieViral, so every Tuesday, we will be spotlighting YouTube channels that make great film and television-related videos on a consistent basis. For our inaugural entry, we bring you the very under-viewed Glove and Boots. Glove and Boots is a channel that features puppets, primarily Mario and Fafa, doing skits, countdown lists, and other funny bits. Bento Box Entertainment (whose work includes Bob’s Burgers) is developing the web series, which they distribute online, for primetime television. While I haven’t seen much about how creators Damien Eckhardt-Jacobi and Vincent Bova came up with the characters, the first of the channel’s 43 videos (from August 2010) makes mention of the characters coming back from a four-year hiatus. The channel’s most viewed video, about the Evolution of the Hipster, has only 744,000 views, and their channel has less than 3 million overall, but they definitely deserve more. We’ve featured their hilarious Walking Dead parody before, but it’s been a few months, so check it out below.Watch more videos and learn about Glove and Boots on their official website, and follow the gang on their Facebook page, Mario’s Twitter, and Fafa’s Twitter.
