MoviePass Introduces Beta of Theater Subscription Plan Dan Koelsch, October 5, 2012September 23, 2024 MoviePass is a great idea. It’s basically Netflix at the theater. For a flat monthly fee ($30 right now), you get to see as many movies you want at pretty much any movie theater. The company had some push back from the theater chains when they first announced their plans last year, but now they have found a work-around.
