Mystery Video Could Be Viral Marketing For Monster Movie or Something We’ve Seen Before Dan Koelsch, October 17, 2012October 18, 2012 Peter over at /Film got a weird text message yesterday with an even weirder video attached that shows some kind of humanoid creature. Could this a viral marketing ploy for an upcoming film? While it’s probably not Cloverfield, we do have an idea. Details after the break. The message Peter received was in Portuguese, so below is the video and Google translated text that explains (somewhat) what we are seeing. This was discovered to sixteen weeks ago on a camera phone that was found in a plastic bag with zipper. It was discovered in the Amazon River, near Santarém. Brazilian officials have not released any information about the phone owner. However, widely believed to be the phone of a Sarah Malina, a native of Torrance, California. Ms. Malina headlines when she disappeared was during his work with Doctors without borders in the area Oriximina at the end of last month. Two weeks after the first reports of her disappearance, she was discovered by a local worker of a factory of wood nearby. She was found unconscious and remained in a coma ever since. His family has not confirmed that the phone was hers, and the only image seems to be a video of an amphibious creature dead. These images are now starting to appear online. If you read our website enough, then you probably know what I’m thinking. We’ve seen two videos in the past two years that are part of Neill Blomkamp’s AGM Heartland viral campaign. This year Blomkamp talked more about the project, including the implication that the campaign might be ramping up. These videos show grostesque unknown creatures either dead or almost dead out in the open, and with the AGM Heartland logo stamped on them. This video doesn’t quite fit in with the earlier ones, but if we are to assume that this AGM Heartland company is genetically engineering creatures, then this might be one of their more advanced creations. What do you think this could be? Let us know in the comments below. ARGs & Campaigns Viral Marketing Viral News Viral Videos agm heartlandViral video

First off, the picture at the top is very misleading and disappointing by alluding to the suggestion that you may have found evidence of a Cloverfield sequel, which you have not. On the other hand, I am excited to see more evidence of the AGM campaign. At least that’s what I was gathering when I was reading, and then was seconded as I came across your assumption as well.
sorry about that! As silly as it sounds, I didn’t even think about the fact that people might get confused! I just put a disclaimer on there.
yeah def does NOT seem like part of Blomkamp’s AGM Heartland thing. For starters it’s by the Amazon River… not in fricken Canada like the other two youtube videos he’s released so far lol and this is like a humanoid creature, as opposed to the mutated rodent things seen before. Just too different, but it’s a cool concept nonetheless, the more the merrier! Hope something comes of it
