Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books and it can be challenging trying to keep track of them all. This is also true for the HBO adaptation of the books, A Game of Thrones. There are a lot of online resources that you can consult, but they may end up spoiling a character’s storyline. Well Random House Books has created an app that can help you find out more about a character without spoiling their death in the next chapter. Find out more after the jump! Random House has made a smartphone app called George R. R. Martin’s A World of Ice and Fire, which is a guide to all things A Song of Ice and Fire. It’s quite large, containing information on 540+ characters, 380+ places, the major houses and interactive maps! So make sure you make space on your iPhone! The app comes with several great features for any fan, including anti-spoiler functionality that you can customize based on where you are in the book cycle. There is also new text written by Elio M. Garcia, Jr. and Linda Antonsson of Westeros.org, the primary fan site for the A Song of Fire and Ice books. Keep in mind that even though the app is free, the information is not. You can buy “InfoPacks”, one for each book. However, when you download the app, you get 8 POV characters from A Game of Thrones as well as interactive maps of the North and South. George R. R.
