Hackers Create TV Emergency Alert For Zombies Dan Koelsch, February 12, 2013February 12, 2013 Dead bodies are rising from their graves in Montana, at least that’s what the Emergency Alert System of Great Falls claimed on television yesterday. Hackers apparently broke into the system of KRTV and its CW station to broadcast the prank that sounded both official and ominous. According to The Great Falls Tribune (via MassLive), at least four local citizens called the police to see if it was true. There has been no word on who the hackers were or how they did it, but you can watch the alert for yourself after the break.Pretty clever prank, but I’m sure if the culprits are found, they’ll get some heavy charges.
