Trailers Weekly: “The Neighbors”, “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, “Mr. Peabodyy & Sherman” Michael Lee, October 26, 2013 Trailers Weekly is a feature in which we bring you the most popular and talked about trailers of the week. Sharing trailers is a classic viral practice, and trailers are still the most mainstream way for people to learn about movies. We’ve got trailers from Neighbors, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Team America remix), and Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Neighbors The green band trailer is a softer tone look at what is expected to be a very raunchy comedy. The film pits two neighbors: a working class family (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) vs an entire fraternity house led by (Zac Efron). The film also stars Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Lisa Kudrowm, and Jake Johnson. The Neighbors opens in theaters on May 9th. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues This week Paramount released two new trailers for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. You may have noticed a spike in the film’s marketing campaign as there have been commercials featuring Ron Burgundy selling Dodge Durangos, a new flavor of Ben & Jerry’s, and a full-fledged Exhibit. The film sees the return of Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) coping with the swift news change as the world is introduced to cable news. The film opens in theaters on November 20. Captain America: The Winter Solder (Team America remix) You may have already seen the trailer Captain America: The Winter Soldier starring Chris Evans. But have you seen it with the song “Fuck Yeah!”? I’m sure this will become a staple for very Captain America released from here on out since it was already successful with the first one. Mr. Peabody & Sherman Mr. Peabody, the most accomplished dog in the world, and his mischievous boy Sherman, use their time machine—the Wabac—to go on the most outrageous adventures known to man or dog. But when Sherman takes the Wabac out for a joyride to impress his friend Penny, they accidently rip a hole in the universe, wreaking havoc on the most important events in world history. Before they forever alter the past, present and future, Mr. Peabody must come to their rescue, ultimately facing the most daunting challenge of any era: figuring out how to be a parent. Together, the time-traveling trio will make their mark on history. The film features the voices of Ty Burrell, Max Charles, Ariel Winter, Allison Janney, Stephen Colbert, Leslie Mann, Stanlery Tucci, Patrick Warburton, Lake Bell, and Zach Callison.
