“Noah” Offers A Look Inside The Ark Kevin C, March 18, 2014 For the upcoming movie Noah, it’s biggest challenge may be helping us get a feel for the size and scale of arguably its most important character, The Ark. We’ll need to understand the geography, why it was built, how it was designed and how this might fit into the world that director Darren Aronofsky has constructed. To that end, Paramount has released a web site that lets us explore the inner workings of this massive vessel. Hit the jump to find out more. You can find this new site at noahmovie.com/theark. If you can remember the popular game Myst, this is a similar way of moving around in a world, a click at a time. The visuals are quite amazing, and some of them are even short videos that expand on what we’ve seeing in trailers. You get to explore locations such as Mammal Deck, Reptile Deck, Avian Deck, and areas like Noah’s workshop and furnace. Along the way, you’ll see brief explanations of each spot as you encounter them. This design is responsive, so it will work on mobile platforms. You’ll need to load the site in Safari and in landscape.
