The Transcendence viral videos have focused on R.I.F.T. (Revolutionary Independence From Technology) and their grand signs of protests. From video hacks and major banner drops, R.I.F.T. wants to let the world know that if techolongy continues to grow at its rapid pace without policing, then people like Will Caster (Johnny Depp) will destroy humanity.

Making his directorial debut, Transcendence is directed by Wally Pfister, and stars Paul Bettany, Rebecca Hall, Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy, Clifton Collins, Jr., and Morgan Freeman. It opens on April 17.
Dr. Will Caster is the foremost researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, working to create a sentient machine that combines the collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions.
