Ridley Scott is back at it again with his large gasping sweeping scenic shots, exciting action sequences, and massive epic feel, with Exodus: Gods and Kings. Fox has released the latest trailer for the film, which stars Christian Bale as Moses, the man who freed the Jews from Ramses’ (Joel Edgerton) tyranny.
By the looks of things, this adaptation of the Book of Exodus isn’t something you learned back in Sunday School or comes close to looking like The Ten Commandments starring Charleston Heston, which airs every Easter Weekend.
So how different does Exodus: Gods And Kings look from either of those? You’ll have to hit the jump to find out.
Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods and Kings also stars Aaron Paul, Ben Mendelsohn, Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley. It opens December 5th.
From acclaimed director Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Prometheus) comes the epic adventure “Exodus: Gods and Kings,” the story of one man’s daring courage to take on the might of an empire. Using state of the art visual effects and 3D immersion, Scott brings new life to the story of the defiant leader Moses (Christian Bale) as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses (Joel Edgerton), setting 400,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.
