‘Tomorrowland’ Super Bowl Commercial: Buckle Up For Disney’s Original Sci-Fi Adventure

Michael Lee, February 1, 2015

Tomorrowland

Disney’s super secretive Tomorrowland has a brand new promo that offers even more footage than its teaser trailer. Though much of the film still remains a mystery, we know that it is one of our most anticipated films of the year because of its director, Brad Bird; its screenwriter, Damon Lindelof; and its ordinality. Hit the jump to check it out.

Leave it to a Damon Lindelof script to be secretive, and leave it to the marketing team to keep much of the film under a shroud of secrecy. We aren’t entirely sure why Casey (Britt Robertson) is chosen to be a part of Tomorrowland, or why Frank (George Clooney) needs her. If that is the case. All we know is, we can’t wait for this movie.

Starring George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Thomas Robinson, and more, Tomorrowland opens in theaters on May 22.

From Disney comes two-time Oscar® winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure “Tomorrowland,” starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever.

Featuring a screenplay by “Lost” writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, from a story by Lindelof & Bird & Jeff Jensen, “Tomorrowland” promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of.
