Not only that, but the film that documented street artists like Bansky and Mr. Brainwash has earned itself an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary. In response to the nomination Bansky has said, “I don’t agree with the concept of award ceremonies, but I’m prepared to make an exception for the ones I’m nominated for.”But has Bansky begun an Oscar Campagin for his nominated film or is this just another street art piece by Mr. Brainwash? Not Banksy, it’s absolutely Brainwash’s style and he has used the star wars figures in some of his other work. Bansky did some of the other stuff around town like the infamous Mickey Mouse billboard on Sunset.
