Funny or Die Introduces Its Hilarious 1986 TV Lineup

Michael Lee, January 10, 2012January 10, 2012

When Adam McKay and Will Ferrell created Funny or Die, no one thought that it would have taken off the way that it did. From a humble video about a drunk landlord baby starring its two creators to Don Cheadle planning as a sociopathic Captain Planet, the comedic website aims to please all audiences and stir up some social issues as well. But now the site heads to a decade before the age of the internet existed. The 1980s.

Headlining some of their series for the 1986 program is Casper Van Dien, Jennifer Beals, Soleil Moon Frye, Robert Davi, Ray Wise, and many many more. The site aims to poke fun at anything that made the 80s what is it today. So you have procedural dramas like Malibu Days: Nights to the family sitcom like Chicklet Ambrosia, and action thrillers like Knight Blade, everything under the 80s sun, and if its not there, I am sure that Funny or Die will cover it eventually.

Below are just some of my favorites from the FOD 1986 Line-Up and don’t forget to check the full list of videos on the official FOD website.
