We Missed An AGM Heartland Video…On Die Antwoord’s YouTube Channel Dan Koelsch, December 31, 2012 We’ve been following Neill Blomkamp’s pet viral project AGM Heartland since the first video came to light in 2010. So far we had only found two videos that are definitely part of the project, along with one that has a slight chance of being connected. However, reader Jeremey (who joined us in our latest ViralCast) clued us in to one more that we missed from back in February titled “IS IT DEAD?”. Check it out after the break. The creature looks to be exactly the same as the one in first video, but other than that, it’s hard to figure out what is going on here. The guy holding the camera has some kind of accent, and that bleached-hair woman has a creepy stare. The video is hosted on the channel for the popular South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord, so I’m suspecting that the women we see is Yo-Landi Vi$$er from the group. Ninja could be the one holding the camera. I have no idea why they have the video on their channel other than the connection that Blomkamp is also from South Africa. There are so many other questions as well. Is this the same creature we saw before, or is it just another of its species?
