‘The Counselor’ Viral Clip Has Michael Fassbender Buying Sexy Lingerie Michael Lee, October 16, 2013 Michael Fassbender may not be interested in doing an Oscar Campaign for 12 Years A Slave, but the guy sure does love to get into a viral marketing campaign mood. Last year we saw him in a couple of viral videos for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus. Now he is doing it all over again for his upcoming starring vehicle thriller The Counselor, which also happens to be directed by Scott. But the clip is a tad bit different from the Prometheus one which had him in his David role promoting androids. In this new viral clip we see his character, only known as The Counselor, stopping by store to buy some lingerie from Game Of Thrones star Natalie Dormer. Hit the jump to see the full video. It should be interesting to see what Dormer’s role in the film is. Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz are the two big leads in the film, and Dormer is only saying that she is “the Blonde” and won’t comment about anything else about her role in the film. That being said, this does feel a lot like the Prometheus virals that we saw last year. One has to wonder if we will see or hear more of the police surveilling The Counselor. The Counselor also stars Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Dean Norris, and Edgar Ramirez. The film opens in theaters on October 25. The film tells the story of a greedy lawyer, known only as The Counselor, who finds himself in over his head when he decides to delve into the dark world of drug trafficking. Along the way we meet his naive girlfriend Laura; Westray, a seedy middleman; Reiner and Malkina, a mysterious and dangerous couple; and Ruth, a prison inmate represented by the lawyer.
