Tron Legacy Viral Adds Countdown to New Trailer? Corey, February 15, 2010August 17, 2010 Way back at San Diego Comic-Con 2009, Disney Pictures released the beginning of their viral campaign for the much anticipated Tron Legacy, the sequel to the 1982 sci-fi action adventure film starring Jeff Bridges. 42 Entertainment, the same people behind The Dark Knight‘s amazing viral campaign, were given the opportunity to do the viral for the upcoming Disney film, starting out with tokens to an actual arcade called Flynn’s Arcade, where we later found out about the site Flynn Lives. Earlier today ComingSoon reported that the Flynn Lives group sent one if his readers a box containing a rather odd star. Find out more after the jump. On the box was “/zerohour”, which after some digging, leads to the website flynnlives.com/zerohour and a rather odd retro video game when you finally get to the website. Apparently the stars (similar to the one in the box) are part of a code that is a countdown to “zero hour”. Zero hour falls on February 24th, 2010. But what does zero hour mean? Many bloggers believe that zero hour is when we will get the new trailer for Tron Legacy. What do you think? Viral Marketing 42 EntertainmentTronTron Legacy
