Alice: Sneak Peek at Tomorrow’s White Rabbit Takeover Dan Koelsch, December 3, 2009December 3, 2009 We first reported on the viral campaign for SyFy’s “Alice” yesterday, and now we have some behind the scenes photos from tonight as SyFy gets ready for their New York takeover in the morning. We also have a press release in which part of it describes the event in more detail:During the morning commute in New York, on Friday, December 4, 50 White Rabbits hunt across the city for Alice and the Hatter, handing out Alice playing cards displaying their faces containing the text, “Have you seen this pair?” At 12:30PM, all 50 White Rabbits converge on Union Square, where they hope to finally meet Alice and the Hatter – along with performing a choreographed “step” dance routine. We should have photos and reactions from the event tomorrow, so look out for that! The four-hour movie event “Alice” premieres Sunday, December 6, at 9PM (ET/PT) and stars Academy Award-winner Kathy Bates (Misery) as the Queen of Hearts and Caterina Scorsone (Crash television series) as Alice. I run a t-shirt shop, http://www.kafkacotton.com, that creates designs inspired by great books. We just came out with an “Alice in Wonderland” t-shirt last week (actually “Through the Looking Glass”). When we decided to make the shirt, we had no idea all these Alices were about to pop out…Here’s the quote from the book which explains the shirt, “One thing was certain, that the WHITE kitten had had nothing to do with it:—it was the black kitten’s fault entirely.”
