Freddy Krueger Wants His MTV (Again!)

Scott Caldwell, March 23, 2010March 23, 2010

Gather ’round kids. I have a story to tell you. You may not believe this, but a long, long time ago, there were these things called “Music Videos”, and they could be seen all around the world on a station called MTV. I know, I know, “shut up Scott! MTV is for hair gel and pregnant kids!”. Let me finish. Back then, there was a man, who would attack you in your dreams. And then…….. he attacked your MTV. His name, was Freddy Krueger.

Thanks to a heads up from Bloody-Disgusting, Freddy is back at it. And this time, he hates dance crews. Commercials for America’s Best Dance Crew are being terrified by Freddy and clips (nothing new unfortunately) of the upcoming A Nightmare On Elm Street.

Take a look at the videos below.

And, for those old enough to remember the original Freddy visits, here’s a clip.

So what do you think? Freddy vs. Freddy, who’s going to be the best? New Line Cinema’s A Nightmare On Elm Street is in theaters on April 30th.

April 18, 2013April 18, 2013

Getting that aching feeling that a film is a retread or just grabbing bits and pieces from previously similar titles is nothing new in this day an age. Not that it should be a cause for concern or anything, but it’s more or less what Joseph Kosinski’s Oblivion is. The…

Thats pretty awesome, but it would be better if it was a PSA, or Freddy doing something creepy like the old version instead of just a trailer
