Tron Legacy: Viral Updates From Flynn Lives Forum Dan Koelsch, April 11, 2010December 3, 2010 While we haven’t had any big viral news for Tron Legacy since the Encom Press Conference, aka Operation Tron, there have been a few smaller updates to the viral sites that may lead to something bigger. Check out the details after the jump. There are three new threads on the Flynn Lives forum, all of which have a few juicy bits. The first thread created talks more about the Sam Flynn’s parachuting interruption of the Encom event, and includes an old news clipping that shows Sam may be used to this kind of thing. An unidentified person base jumped from a high rise, and his parachute had the same “89” logo as Sam’s parachute last week (an obvious reference to the year his dad Kevin disappeared). There’s a reference to the highly exclusive Trejelo Club, which I sense may become a factor in later updates. Check out the clipping below. The second thread provides another news clipping, this time from 2007, that shows Sam again base jumped in a wealthy area. I bet the anonymous company in the story is Encom, but I’m not sure what the point of all these stunts are.The last new thread mentions an update on the Encom Intranet, where we have previously been able to hack into employee emails and even the CEO’s remote desktop. There are different access levels, and Group 1 and 3 have been locked out, though Group 7 still has access. Someone inside Encom realized our hack, because all the passwords we had were for Groups 1 and 3. However, the Flynn Lives guys are smart, and created an archive. What I particularly like about this move is that it mirrors the original Tron where Alan Bradley is inadvertently locked out of the Master Control Program after Kevin Flynn tries to hack into with using the same security level, Group 7.Let us know if you find anything else!
