GKNOVA6: Third Transmission Goes Live, More Codes

The third transmission has been posted on GKNOVA6.com. The newest update still hasn’t shed a light on what game this is for, however it has brought us some new codes to crack. After the jump, watch the video and see what has been uncovered thus far.

Here is what was said in the video, provided by CoDZ.

They used the earths magentic field X the information was gathered and transmitted.

CoDZ user FireStarFish80 pointed out where the quotes were from.

That first line is a line for part two of the kryptos in Langley (They used the earths magentic field X the information was gathered and transmitted.)

The Second line is a quote from two time nobel prize winner Marie Curie (Wiki page on her, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Curie)

Lastly, Outside of consciousness there lies the cold and alien world of actual things, is a quote by Heinrich Hertz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Hertz)

UPDATE 6:24PM: So people have been working on the updates all day, and so far this is what they gathered.

This image was discovered by MrToasty while examining the audio of the newest transmission. So far it’s lead to Freedom7.com – but the legitimacy of that site is being question (due to the WhoIs information, which reveals the website was registered in 1997). In addition, the 5 + 5 = 10 message may be referring to 5/5/2010, which is when Alan Shepard became the first man in space.

This update still leads us to ponder the golden question. What game is this for?! My message to the marketing team behind this game is simple: if you wait to long to reveal what you’re marketing, people lose interest. Not only that, but if what you’re marketing IS NOT what they expected it to be, the campaign completely backfires (I’m talking to you, “New Coke“). So keep that in mind.

  4. So I can pretty safely say that the code isn’t encrypted using the K1 or K2 solutions from the Kryptos…

  5. i am working on this at the time, so far i can say that the same method that were used to solve the first puzzle were based on caesars ciphers, i been studing this but by my lack of time i cant reach more, so far i can say that is something to do with the caesars cipher, the word M O D stands it for

    the is the number sequence, you see the number that are in the video(the spoken ones)are no longer than 26, this is alphabet letters(a=1,2=b,26=z)so then you get secuence of letter, and he word MOD
    stands for the caesars cipher, the one that uses the guys from the first encription in the first place, so far i can say that you should take a look of this page:

    here is the cipher , so far i found a math formula with the MOD description, what i dont know is if has to be use with numbers or with letter, i havent find a way to get this but i am sure that someone in this blog will find it , i will let you that guide, i giving up for tonight, if you guys want to give a try it maybe worth it.

It’s not a new technique at all… But yeah it’s teetering on the edge of FAIL at the moment… They really need to give another hint as to what it’s actually for and it might keep people interested… But when it gets this hard, I can’t imagine it’ll be long before most of the people original working on these codes will give up and then the campaign will be utter FAIL
