Trailers Weekly: Piranha 3D, Buried, Jonah Hex, Toy Story 3 and More Dan Koelsch, May 1, 2010September 3, 2010 Trailers Weekly is a feature in which we bring you the most popular and talked about trailers of the week. Sharing trailers is a classic viral practice, and trailers are still the most mainstream way for people to learn about movies. This week we have the first trailers for Piranha 3D and Jonah Hex, as well as a teaser for Buried, an internet trailer for Toy Story 3, and more. See them all after the jump. This teaser for the Rodrigo Cortés directed Buried (opening 10/8) features star Ryan Reynolds trying to make a call in the dark until he is able to flick his lighter on and reveal his situation. Very simple and effective. Jonah Hex finally has a trailer before its June 8th US debut. Josh Brolin as the title character kicks ass, and Megan Fox is as visually pleasing as ever. After having a teaser released earlier in the week, Piranha 3D (August 27) got its first full trailer yesterday. Another horror flick saw a new trailer this week. Vincenzo Natali’s Splice (June 4) indie thriller got its second full trailer that gives us a better glimpse at the creature Adrien Brody’s character helps create. Last, but not least, Toy Story 3 (June 18) has an internet-exclusive trailer. Of course, every week there are a lot more trailers, teasers, TV spots, and clips, that we can’t cover, so go to TrailerAddict.com to see your favorites, and to watch at least some of the ones above in HD.
