Unauthorized Comic-Con Survival Guide Now Available Dan Koelsch, June 9, 2010 Those who have attended the San Diego Comic-Con know it can get pretty hectic. There are more panels, screenings, and other events than any one person could possibly attend. When you add that to the overcrowded scene, it can be tough to make the most out of your Comic-Con experience. Fortunately, a fellow geek has created a survival guide for those needing a few tips. The Unauthorized San Diego Comic-Con Survival Guide is written by Doug Kline, creator of PopCultureGeek.com. He pulls from his years of expertise and experience with the convention to help you find the best swag, where to park, and almost everything else to make your whole trip more enjoyable. The guide is pocket size, so it’s easy to take with you. I’d have to read it myself to really see if it’s worth the reasonable $10 price tag (includes shipping), but I love the concept. You spend so much money and time going to this thing, you might as well do it right. Check out the book’s website to get more information, including how to purchase a copy, as well as a chance to win a 4 day pass to San Diego Comic-Con 2011. Be sure to follow the survival guide on Twitter and Facebook. Comic-Con Conventions Events Comic-Con
