Holy Websites, Batman! – A Viral In The Making? Scott Caldwell, July 13, 2010July 13, 2010 Remember the “Experience” from Sony? The one that handed us the viral sites, as opposed to letting us find them? You know, the ones from District 9 and 2012? Well apparently there is a viral campaign in the making that has been found, way before it started. What it’s for exactly, well that’s the part that is unsure. The only thing we DO know, is it’s Batman related. Take a look to find out more. Somehow, those at io9 got a list of domain names purchased by Warner Bros., that while are obviously related to Batman, they could either be a future home of viral to Arkham Asylum 2, and although a stretch, they could tie in to a The Dark Knight sequel (or simply the next installment of Batman film), or, maybe something altogether different. While the titles seem to be a far cry from the movie series, you never know.Take a look at the extensive list of URLs (none of which work yet):– ArkhamCity.com – BatmanArkhamCity.com – BatmanAshesofGotham.com – BatmanBrokenGround.com – BatmanNewArkham.com – BatmanGrandDelusion.com – BatmanRiseofArkham.com – BatmanSiegeofGotham.com – BatmanStateofVillainy.com – CityofArkham.com – CloseArkhamCity.com – PeopleforGotham.com – StopMayorSharp.com – WarinGothamCity.com – WheresBruceWayne.com The only thing I can say, is if they are going to show their face at Comic-Con, we’ll be ready as we will give you full coverage throughout the convention. Stay tuned for any updates that may appear. What do you think? Game, movie, cartoon series? Let us know what you think, and, what you want out of this.
