David O. Russell (Three Kings, The Fighter) is directing, the big question is who will play title character Nathan Drake. While there has been no news or rumors on potential leads, there is one name that is getting some support thanks to Twitter: Nathan Fillion. I think he’d be brilliant at it. And considering Firefly’s fans got a huge movie deal out of a cancelled show with their fandom, I think not casting him would be silly.
For Nathan Drake these are my top five actors Chris Evans, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Pine, Garrett Hedlund, and Taylor Kitsch. For Elena these are my top five Emily Rose, Alice Eve, Rachel McAdams, Malin Akerman, Keira Knightley. My pick for Sully is Pierce Bronson, for Gabriel Roman I like Geoffrey Rush, For Atoq Navarro I say Edgar Ramirez, and I Eddie Raja I say Erine Reyes Jr.
I’m disappointed in this article. It has omitted another piece of ‘movie viralling’. Keep uptodate! Joe Flanigan has also started an online campaign for the role of Nathan Drake. True, he has fewer fans and they can’t make as much noise, but does that necessarily mean he is any less suitable for the role or less deserving of coverage by sites such as these?
It might be useful to follow this up with an article about the viral campaign Joe Flanigan has also called for on Twitter. He recently said on his Twitter account, @JoeFlanigan , “Would love to play Nathan Drake! And I’m damn good at the game too.” This was later followed by, “@hirokoibuki: aboslutely @JoeFlanigan for #NathanDrake #Uncharted :D” Let’s get this campaign rolling!” And if you search under the tags #Flanigan4Drake and #Nathan Drake, you will see his fans are working hard for him, too. So, how about it? Can you point out the viral campaigning for Joe now? Joe would be great in the role, and has just the mixture of edginess and humour this character needs. An article would really help to get him noticed by the people who matter.
I think Joe Flanigan would be a perfect choice for the role, and he say’s he’s damn good at the game too! I love Nathan but just see Joe as a better fit for Drake.
