Stephen Colbert To Sing Rebecca Black’s “Friday” With The Roots Dan Koelsch, March 30, 2011March 30, 2011 How’s that for a headline? On Monday, Stephen Colbert came on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and made host Fallon fulfill a promise to match his own donation of $26,000 to DonorsChoose.org/fallon-colbert-project. However, Fallon made no promise, so he countered by having Colbert promise to sing the viral sensation “Friday” with Fallon’s house band The Roots if his audience could match the sum. Though the $26,000 goal was met this morning, you can still donate to the educational charity here. Watch the original video and Fallon’s follow up below. Stay tuned tonight at 12:35am on NBC to see Fallon react to the goal being met. Viral Marketing Viral News CharityJimmy FallonNBCStephen Colbert
