WonderCon 2011: “Star Wars: Last Fan Movie Standing” Crowns Winner Dan Koelsch, April 2, 2011April 2, 2011 Every year WonderCon hosts a “Star Wars: The Last Fan Movie Standing” to decide which fan films for the sci-fi classic are the best. This is the contest’s 10th year, and we had a good mix of terrible ones and hilarious ones. After the break, watch both the winner of this year’s contest and the movie I thought should have won (though they are both great). This event was really fun, as I don’t get to see a lot of diehard Star Wars fans. Everyone was getting into it by shouting out one-liners from quotes in the film, and generally just geeking out at the obscure prizes for audience participation (a C-3PO baking pan actually exists).Last Fan Movie Standing Winner: My Vote:Both videos are actually two years old (a lot of these were old for some reason), but they still hold up.
