WonderCon 2011: “Human Target” Roundtable With Executive Producer Matt Miller and Stars Mark Valley, Jackie Earle Haley, & Janet Montgomery Dan Koelsch, April 5, 2011June 21, 2011 Human Target on FOX is one of my favorite shows on television and recently had its second season finale. The fun, action-packed series is loosely based on the comic book of the same name from DC Comics. For my last roundtable interview at this year’s WonderCon, I got to talk to some of the show’s stars as well as executive producer Matt Miller. Get the full audio and details after the break. Matt Miller and Mark Valley 00:00 – 09:16 Valley is the main character Christopher Chance, who leads a team to protect the innocent by becoming the target himself. Valley and Executive producer Miller talk about many things, including the possibility of a Season 3 for the show, the addition of two strong female characters to break up the sausage fest on screen, and fan input, and Valley gets really interested in a reporter’s notebook.Jackie Earle Haley and Janet Montgomery 09:17 – 18:16Haley plays the mysterious and badass Guerrero, and British actress Montgomery came on the show this season as Ames, a thief who looks to get her life back on track by joining the crew. The two talk about the transition of adding Montgomery to the team, the shooting schedule, and much more, and Haley talks a bit about Dark Shadows.Subscribe to the podcast on Comic-Con Conventions Events Podcasts Human TargetinterviewWondercon

Human target Season 2 was fantastic. Matt Miller did a great job changing the show for a broader audience. It still has the action, comedy, drama it had in season 1, but had greater character interaction and a fabulously done subtle romance. Great show with great actor — must have season 3. Keep the show going just the way it is — just get a regular slot and more advertising!!!
