Fan films aren’t just a thing of the Internet age. Check out this 1971 student fan film for Star Trek, which has been making the rounds on the Internet. [via GeekTyrant] At the White House Corespondents Dinner, President Barack Obama made light of the birther issue by showing a video of his birth, which was really just the Circle of Life scene from The Lion King. College Humor decided that a different film clip might have worked just as well for a laugh. Daniel Krone has created a mini documentary that covers the phenomenon of cult films [via /Film] The video itself is a few months old, but GeekTyrant recently posted a montage of every cry from Donald Glover on the NBC sitcom Community.
