Fan films aren’t just a thing of the Internet age. Check out this 1971 student fan film for Star Trek, which has been making the rounds on the Internet. [via Boing Boing] Check out this weird short film titled Late Bloomer [via /Film] We’ve seen a lot of montages here at MovieViral, but this one is probably the best, as it spoofs the trend. Handsome Donkey presents the greatest movie sandwiches. Have you ever wanted to see My Little Pony mashed up with Watchmen? Well, then here you go. [via GeekTyrant] At the White House Corespondents Dinner, President Barack Obama made light of the birther issue by showing a video of his birth, which was really just the Circle of Life scene from The Lion King. College Humor decided that a different film clip might have worked just as well for a laugh. Daniel Krone has created a mini documentary that covers the phenomenon of cult films [via /Film] The video itself is a few months old, but GeekTyrant recently posted a montage of every cry from Donald Glover on the NBC sitcom Community.
