This week’s we put the spotlight on the trailers for Goon, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Snow White and the Huntsman, A Thousand Words, and Act of Valor. Check them out after the jumpGoon The brutally violent hockey comedy stars Seann Williams Scott as a down on his luck bouncer who becomes a minor league hockey star because of his fighting skills. The film has been praised for being raunchy and hilarious. The cast includes Jay Baruchel, Liev Schreiber, Alison Pill and Eugene Levy. This is the red band trailer so if your not comfortable scroll down to see the other trailersJourney 2: The Mysterious Island The film marks Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s the regrettable turn to family-friendly comedy. While the first Journey film was met with mixed reviews it did launch contemporary 3D films. Obviously it being geared towards a younger audience, the comedy is silly and outrageous. Unfortunately it can be too much. Snow White and the Huntsman If you’ve been keeping up with the Snow White race you would see that Tarsem Singh wants to aim for the strikingly visual. But Rupert Sanders (who is making his directorial debut) is aiming for a dark and twisted take on the film. Audiences did not see this coming and some are actually excited to see Kristen Stewart in a strong lead role.A Thousand Words It’s another family comedy starring Eddie Murphy. Unfortunately its another family comedy starring Eddie Murphy. But this time it may not be a bad thing. Outside the Liar Liar scheme, A Thousand Words looks like it has potential. Viewers have been noting that this is one his better works.Act of Valor Premiering on Veterans Day, Act of Valor has been looked at as a feature length version of a Navy recruiting video. But don’t let that deter you. Fans have been excited to see actual active duty soldiers fighting on the big screen. That’s right no actors, all of what you are seeing is performed by those who protect us.
