Loud Noises Possible Viral For “Godzilla” or “Cloverfield 2”? Caleb Hamilton, January 23, 2012January 27, 2012 Sometimes strange videos hit the web and create an uproar. We’ve seen things from UFO’s hovering over football games to a man sawing a parking meter in half. The latest strange video making the rounds compiles footage from around the world in which a loud, mechanical sound is heard. Could this be viral for Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla reboot, the rumored sequel to Cloverfield or something else entirely? Check out the video after the break.http://youtu.be/GZ2ZcmMxehk?hd=1If this were viral for a film, I’d guess it would be Godzilla. Godzilla’s roar is very mechanical, much like the sounds in the video. It could also very well be viral for Cloverfield 2, but unlikely since J.J. Abrams has just started production on Star Trek 2. There is also the chance that this could be a very elaborate hoax, possibly trying to scare those who believe the world will be ending this year. What do you think it is? Abraham Lincoln Is Now On Twitter February 11, 2011It’s not often that you see a serious film test out the viral marketing landscape, so this is a nice treat. New Moon Trailer May 31, 2009May 1, 2010I know what you’re thinking. Dan, why do you care about New Moon? Well, for one, the Twilight saga books were pretty good. The film fell below it’s potential, but with a bigger budget and new director, I’m hopeful. I also liked the actors who played the characters. So, there’s… Read More

I don’t think these are hoax’s …. when they are reported on the news and people calling 911. There is some science behind this. These are sounds caused from the core of the earth being unstable. The sounds are caused from earth magnetic field eruptions. What is happening is the liquid iron core of the Earth is spinning at a different rate than the planet’s rotation and the slippage is causing a measurable migration of the Earth’s magnetic field. These are all symptoms of the earth going through a pole shift.
I’m going out on the limb here, I think it’s the same guy taking video and creating the noise. I have not heard from any reliable news source about this, either in the paper or newspaper. I want it to be real, but. . . I’m going with a fake until move evidence comes up.
I spoke too soon, after posting my comment, I found the news on this. I’m sorry for stating it as a fake.
Obviously a hoax. There is no reaction from the people walking in Russia and there is no reaction from any of the people filming in any of the countries.
I live in Chicago and never heard a peep and neither did anyone else. Also why are there monkey sounds and bird sounds like we are in a jungle that doesnt happen in Chicago sorry
Well there are to big monster movies being made this year Godzilla 2012 An talks of cloverfield 2 so what ever it is it don’t seem scary at all
I think it really is a viral thing. I live in Germany. Nobody has ever heard ANY of those sounds here. NOBODY. It would have been plastered all over the news and I never heard anyone talk about any phenomena that comes even close to that.
