“Legends of Alcatraz” Viral Has Begun Dan Koelsch, January 24, 2012 Last night was the second week of FOX’s new sci-fi mystery show Alcatraz, and if you were hoping that the J.J. Abrams-produced series would have a viral campaign, then you are in luck (even if it is blatantly sponsored by Ford). Get the latest details after the break. Two weeks ago we reported on Alcatraz boxes being mailed to film blogs. Those boxed led to the website Legends of Alcatraz, which had a countdown until the show’s premiere episode last week. Now the site is live, and it reveals of puzzle. When you enter the correct code into the field on the bottom righthand corner, you get a page that reveals a Legends of Alcatraz Twitter account, as well as a date, time, and location of some kind of event. If you want to be part of it, make sure you are at Alcatraz Island at 9:14 (AM or PM is not specified) on January 27, 28, and 29.
