Earlier this week, we reported on a phenomenon sweeping the Internet in which strange noises were heard around the world. These roars/groans from the sky are a bit frightening, which may have contributed to videos of the occurance flooding YouTube (along with many hoaxes). While we considered the idea that the sounds were some kind of marketing ploy, we now have at least one scientific explanation that might resolve this issue. Find out after the jump.
I was surfing YouTube last night when I found the video below. It’s a news report from Canadian channel CTV that talks about the sounds.
The professor in the clip explains that the sounds are coming from the Aurora Borealis (aka the Northern Lights) causing electromagnetic noise within nearby environmental antennas. It sounds a bit like the Roswell weather ballon explanation to me, especially since these noises have not been heard before (at least not recently, since this is the first time the Internet has been up in arms about it). What do you think? Is this a good explanation?

I HAVEN’T HEARD IT BUT i WATCHED A SHOW WHERE A HUMMING SOUND WAS COMING FROM THE OCEAN AND NOBODY COULD FIGURE OUT WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM THEN IT STOPPED AND A COUPLE DAYS LATER IT STARTED UP AGAIN. First of all, I don’t think that is the reason, the ice is melting and the earth is heating
up? I mean come on, it’s probably not biblical, it’s not some end of the
world thing, and it’s just stupid to say alien’s are doing it. I mean are people just trying to find something to scare them on purpose? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!!?? Why not just look for a REAL answer and stop spewing out fake nonsense and scaring stupid people that can’t think because they’re lazy and will believe anything they see with no evidence. THANK YOU!
I think that these noises can be explained. I mean really, we had the same problems with
UFOs for lots of years, nobody could explain anything, the shapes, sounds, noises, or quiet
yet very bright orbs hanging over our heads, and now, thanks to people who have investigating
the UFO phenomenon for years and years, and thanks to all the TV documentaries, and to
the people who know about ufoss, we were able to uncover the truth about what people
really saw in the skies over their heads, and there were some yahoo birds who decided to
play a joke on the public, but making flying objects appear and it was all a hoax.
I believe that’s what we are facing right now. I think that we are so afraid of our future
that people are paying more attention to their surroundings that we are actually picking
up sounds that were not able to hear before, if the sounds got more clearer, the sounds
are coming from something, we just don’t know where, we can’t find any sources that
lead to the strange and even bone chilling sounds, there also could be people that are
rigging hoaxes, there are people out there who reconrd sounds, or hear a sound that
people know about, and change the sequence of it, they can take videos of places with
no sound on the camera, and they can play the video and play the noise, splice the rwo
together and there is your video, and there are some hoaxes with still photos. I think
those are hoaxes. I say that because I listened to a video that has strange sounds,
and one of them sounded like the soundtrack from the hit movie War Of The Worlds,
if anyone reading this has seen that movie starring:(Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning),
you know that when the aliens show up in their robotic killing machines, we
hear this eerie and bone chilling sound and music, and I’m convinced that’s what
we heard in that you tube video I watched one time, some ididot spliced
pictures and added the soundtrack, and I tell you, that one was a fake video,
it was made by some idiot.
That’s my take on what’s happening.

Not a good explanation in my opinion,haha! Everything can have a scientific explanation nowadays when many are just theories that do not have any evidence.
Why believing everything what the Bible says?

pretty creepy, considering the movie “melancholia”. the other possibility is a pole shift, they have happened before and we weren’t around to experience it, at least not in our present form.
